Meet Our Pastor

About Pastor John
Pastor John came to us with a unique ministry situation. John was ordained in 2017 with a non-denominational Christian Fellowship and gravitated towards Presbyterianism and the the Reformed Faith while completing his Bible College internship at another Presbyterian Church. John graduated from Carolina College of Biblical Studies in Fayetteville, NC with Associates and Bachelors Degrees in Leadership and Ministry in 2018 and serves our church as a Commissioned Pastor and an ordained ruling elder in the PCUSA. John has also been the lead pastor of another Presbyterian Church in the EPC Denomination and has also served as a recovery minister and hospice chaplain. His ministry is defined by a commitment to the Word of God and a heart for pastoral care within our church family and beyond. John also serves West Glade Run Presbyterian Church as their pastor. Pastor John has been very happily married to his high school sweetheart Valerie for 36 years. Together, John and Valerie have two grown children, Kaitlyn and Alexander and are the grandparents to Michael. Outside of the pulpit, John enjoys model railroading, cycling, music, playing the drums, and spending time with his wife and family. You can contact Pastor John at pastorjohntirpak@gmail.com

Our Convictions
We hold to the central truths of the Reformation, acknowledging God's majestic grace and the sufficiency of Christ alone.
📖
Scripture Alone
The Bible is our only infallible rule for faith and practice. We believe it is the inspired Word of God that guides us in every area of our lives and church tradition.
✝️
Christ Alone
Salvation is found in no one else. We recognize Jesus Christ as our exclusive Mediator and Savior, whose sacrificial death and resurrection provide the only way to the Father.
🕊️
Grace Alone
We are saved by God's unmerited favor. Grace is the source and ground of our salvation, bestowed upon us apart from any works or worthiness of our own.
⚓
Faith Alone
Justification is received through faith in Christ, not by deeds. It is the instrumental means by which we are declared righteous before God.
☀
God’s Glory Alone
All of life and salvation is for God's glory alone. Every action we take as a church is intended to honor the majesty of our Creator and King.

Grace & Faith
We trust in Christ alone for salvation and find our joy in obeying His sacred, holy scriptures.

Biblical Living
Rooted in Reformed principles, we prioritize constant prayer and loving one another with grace.
